In Southern Aroostook behind Cary Library in Houlton Maine where McGill's Music Community Band performs Thursday nights in the summer. You see the 100 volunteers perched, playing on a trailer truck flat bed during the fourth of July parade too.
Grab you lawn chair, head to the Houlton Maine Amphitheatre donated to the Shiretown by the local rotary club fund raisers.

McGill's Band was founded by David McGillicuddy a retired Houlton Maine high school music teacher. The very able bodied McGill's Music Band Director Joe Fagnant leads the band now with the white baton. Joe is the Houlton High School music director who is well known around the state band and choral circles. The music band is managed by Michael Clark.
